Heritage

Heritage St. Clair – is a committee comprised of volunteers identifying sites based on the Ontario Heritage Act. You will find plaques and cairns at many of the waterfront parks in St. Clair Township.

Lambton Outdoor Club – local active club participating in a variety    of outdoor activities: cycling, hiking, paddling, etc.
Bike Friendly Lambton – promoting local cycling events and safe cycling
Lambton County Trails – interactive maps of the local trail system
Ontario By Bike – Pedal to explore Ontario. Stop at bicycle friendly places to eat, visit, sleep, etc.
Chatham-Kent Trails – maps of recreational trails for users of all ages and abilities
Great Lakes Waterfront Trail – A 3,000 km. signed route connecting 4 Great Lakes, 140 Communities and First Nations

Ferry crossing

 Walpole Island Ferry – an international ferry service connecting Walpole Island, Ontario with Algonac, Michigan. {auto, bicycles, pedestrians}  On the U.S. side of the river, you will be travelling the Bridge to Bay Trail. 

NOTE – BLUEWATER FERRY between Sombra, Ontario and Marine City, Michigan is CLOSED!
